Proven Leadership. Delivering Results.
“Families have always come first for me. I’m proud of the progress we’ve made to lower costs, strengthen our schools and bring greater accountability to state government—and I’ll keep working to deliver results for the families of House District 30.”
Before Mark Lawson ever served in elected office, his work was already centered on Oklahoma children and families. He worked with Youth Services of Tulsa’s Safe Place program, Children’s Hospital at Saint Francis and Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), serving children and families during some of their most difficult moments. He also served as chairman of the board for Youth Services of Creek County.
That experience shaped the approach Mark brought with him to the State Capitol. First elected to represent House District 30 in 2016, Mark has spent the last decade serving the communities he calls home and working to make a difference for Oklahoma families.
Today, Mark serves as House Majority Leader, helping lead the Oklahoma House while continuing to represent the people of House District 30. From his work with children and families before taking office to his leadership at the Capitol today, Mark has built his career around service, responsibility and delivering results.
